iBert Safe T Front Mounted Child Bicycle Seat

iBert Safe T Front Mounted Child Bicycle Seat

The iBert safe-T-seat was designed with quality and safety first. The safe-T-seat places the child up front, safely between the parent’s protective arms. This evenly distributes weight over the bike giving a stable, safe ride. Kids enjoy the close interaction and the unobstructed view of the fun ahead. Mounted conveniently on the handlebar stem; the high, forward position allows you to pedal in comfort without banging your knees on the seat.

5 Stars Fantastic
I got this for my daughter at 10 months. It was easy to put on my mountain bike. She is now 3.5 years old and we still use it (even though we are trying to get her on her own bike!). She loves it. It was a great investment for us – I can talk to her while we ride, I can point to things and she can hear me (and I can hear her), and it is super stable. The only part that is not so comfortable anymore is that now that she’s getting taller (37″), the top of her head is starting to get too close to the bottom of my chin. But if I had a smaller/younger kid or if my handle bars were higher (if the grips were higher instead of all flat), it wouldn’t be an issue. My knees barely touch the bottom of the seat (I’m 5′10″), but it’s not a big deal and I can always just move my knees so they are slightly out if it starts to bug me. I really like the seat and much prefer it over the ones that sit on the back of the bike. Much easier to travel with than the big chariots/burley’s also.

4 Stars Love it
Our 18 month old daughter loves this. It feels totally safe and fits our bike perfectly. The only thing about front bike seats in general is if your a short person, seeing over the helmet might be hard. or a tall person might have to open knees wider to keep from hitting them on the seat. Im 5′5 and it was perfect though. i would and do recommend this product

I bought this over a year ago. And we use it about three times a week. Only thing I wish I could change is the harness. Many times I had to stop biking to slide it back on his shoulders. So it took me a while to get it right but now I don’t have a problem. Still think the harness could be better. Other then that I love it and so does my son. I have never had any problems like other revewiers with my knees hitting the seat but my husband has. He said it didn’t bother him. It has also fit our bikes… Cross Sprinter SE, Python Striker.

5 Stars A Great Investment! Saved my baby’s life!
My husband and I just recently bought bikes and I thought we’d take our new baby seat out for a spin. Although I was excited for our first family ride together, I was also nervous. “What if the baby bike seat falls off?” I’ve heard some horror stories. Also, my baby is only 7 months old, so another fear occured. “What if she’s too small for the seat to properly protect her?” After a bit of practice, I put my doubts aside and headed on down the road with my baby. Sure enough, i came to a rough path in the road once we had ran out of sidewalk. Somehow, my foot didn’t stay on the ground and we toubled down after i attempted to stop. Because this seat is in front of you, not behind, I was able to keep hold of the handlebars and hold her up, away from the ground, and the straps held her securely in her seat until my husband helped us up. This is an awesome and very safe seat, and in my opinion, it saved my girl’s life :)
