A soft race saddle sounds like an oxymoron to most people. The Zero is just that, though, and it’s become a huge favorite at the office and among cycling industry types. With more foam padding than the original, the 2007 Zero is available in a smooth, metallic pearl, Italian leather that looks like it came out of the Maserati factory. Flared rear platform gives you increased leverage on climbs; flat overall platform and slightly wider nose increase the forward riding surface while in an aero position, making this a good choice for racing, triathlons and time trials; vanox rails are as light and strong as titanium but less prone to seatpost clamping failure.

Very comfortable, excellent product. The seat is made up of a plastic frame with rubber molded onto it which allows the seat to bend slightly. I have not had any saddle soreness with this seat.
5 Stars Comfort, Stability, Support, and Clearance
This saddle came with a Bianchi Broadway I bought in 2007 and it felt good. I didn’t think about it that much until I bought a second bike (Puma Biomega folding bike) and found that the saddle on the new bike hurt even after very short rides. I bought a new WTB Speed V Comp Saddle to replace the Biomega saddle and the pain was gone. This saddle worked great for me comforable without all of the springs and extra padding of an official comfort saddle.

Improving our beloved Ti Race was a difficult feat but our Eco-Challenge and Race Across America riders should be very pleased to find a new level of comfort in the form of a single layer of gel. A very thin layer of gel is molded on top of the foam, right below the leather cover. It adds just a bit of weight, but also provides a higher degree of comfort for those longer distances. Like the Ti Race, the the gel version has a higher rear platform and more extremely dropped nose than any other Terry saddle for strong power riders with lots of sensitivity up front.
